Fans of Clazziquai will be pleased to know that their favorite band’s male vocalist Alex has ventured out of the group (just momentarily!) as a solo artist with his very first solo album entitled My Vintage Romance. Since the debut of Clazziquai in 2002, Alex has played a big role in reinventing music by introducing new genres like lounge, house, and electronica into mainstream Korean music. Marking a new chapter in his career, Alex offers his unique mid-baritone vocals and cordial mannerism in his new album. Other than the elegant ballad of the principal song Geu dae ra myeon (”If You” - Track 2), the album which brims on romanticism touches on a variety of musical genres including modern rock and jazz ballad. In addition, the album features an impressive list of participants like Kang Hyun Min and Lee Jae Hak of Loveholic, Bae Young Jun and Kim Sang Hoon of W, Jung Soon Yong of My Aunt Mary, Dynamic Duo, and Lee Joo Han of Winterplay.
