Nokia 5800 Xpress Music

by admin on May.15, 2009, under Cell Phone

As for me, 5800xm is a good phone, not great, but good enough with a decent camera, excellent music player and good screen. The only downsides are the processor, which is not as new as the one in the upcoming 5730 Xpress Music, and its dull design. I don’t favor rounded edges personally, I prefer to patterns more like those of N95, HTC Diamond, SE W705 etc. But a design won’t suit everyone’s taste, will it? No matter how, the N97 to me is really a magnificent beauty, a near perfection stuff.
I think it’s the music, video and other multimedia bits that make the phone outshine others. The built-in speaker is nifty – stereo speakers with surround sound, and coming out of it is the amazing quality of the tunes. I don’t need my headset to listen to music, so I can literally broadcast music from the speakers (but it can also sometimes be really annoying, if I were waiting where there were lots of other people around me). The only inconvenience that annoys me is the fact that if you wanted to use the radio application, you needed the headset — music player doesn’t require it, but the radio does. Looks like a software error.
Moreover, video playback is gorgeous. While the screen isn’t as big as what you’d see on an iPod Touch, it certainly does provide enough clarity. The video that I recorded off the camera, isn’t as clear as expected though, yet that’s a question of quality of the source. But if you load up something from other clearer sources, you’ll notice that it will be crisp and clear. Millions of colors are being displayed, and the clarity as well as the contrast all just fantastic.

On N95

by admin on May.15, 2009, under Cell Phone

From my perspective, Nokia N95 with a capacity of 8GB is the best phones that I have ever used. It is among the Nokia S60 mobile phone series as the most high-end products at present. Nokia N95 8GB integrates all the housekeeping skills produced by Nokia, including the Carl Zeiss lens Certification 500-megapixel camera, built-in A-GPS satellite navigation, WLAN, HSDPA, S60 third edition of the system, ARM 330 MHz processor, and innovative two-way slider design. Compared with the ordinary version of the N95, the biggest change in the new version of N95 8GB is that the support of micro-SD card has been removed, replaced by a built-in 8GB of memory. Another great improvement is that the screen size has been increased to 2.8 inches. In addition, it is cheap, but it is so powerful! It’s hard to find a product that boasts a high quality at such a low price.
It’s also worth noting that camera operation has been improved slightly, with 5 mega-pixel images now handled more swiftly (just about a second or so) and with a message telling the user what’s happening at each stage. Camera launching is still slow though, I really struggle to understand why this still hasn’t evolved.
On the other hand, the Nokia N95 8GB has been cancelled the original N95 design manual cover, so the protection has been weakened.

Wonderful N73

by admin on May.15, 2009, under Cell Phone, Eletronics

My N73 is a Finland made, Nokia N73 Music edition.
This is my 23rd Phone, since I started using mobile phones in 2005; N73 is one of the best among all of them.

This is the only phone I have kept for more than a year, and I have been using this for 1 year and 9 months until now.

After my purchasing N73, more than 20 N73 devices were bought by my friends based on my opinion and reviews
about the N73.

The original battery used to hold for more than 3 days.

The stuff that lacks in this phone for me is Memory, Wi-Fi and GPS. If they were included, I wouldn’t feel the need of changing this phone again.

Ever since I got the N73, I never felt the need of a digital camera, The only failure in the N73 camera is, it is not capable of capturing pictures under low light conditions, such as in the evenings or at night. I have captured more than 5000 photographs from my N73, most of which appear on my Facebook and Blog.

There’s no need to backup messages like limited memory phones, N73 can hold more than 3000 text messages in the inbox.

The amazing pre-installed “Converter” application is a life saver. No need of pens and papers anymore to do the complicated conversions. This special feature is especially convenient when we’re at shops, on long distance trips and at classes.

Motorola V170 Is Wonderful

by admin on May.14, 2009, under Cell Phone

I like and continue to use Tracfone. I use it for my small business to have a portable voice mail box. I don’t use it for out-calling except to get numbers off the caller ID and to receive and check voicemail messages on a separate line from my main business number.

I love this phone, it’s small, handy, has all the basic features anyone needs in a cellular phone. I haven’t had issues with reception as I’d had with a few of the cheaper Tracfone phones before.

The small size of the phone is good for carrying in a backpack or briefcase and I carry it everywhere in my car and at home. If you’re looking for an affordable phone that you can use in emergencies and has an easy reloading system, try this one. If you have a child, either a kid or a teenager, this would be good to give them on school outings. It holds battery charge very well and if I don’t use it usually it’s ready a week later if it’s been in the turned off state and a couple of days if I leave it on all the time but don’t actively use it.

All in all, it’s not super-fancy though, still it’s miles beyond the first Motorola phones.

Dell Laptop Is not Bad

by admin on May.14, 2009, under Computer and Laptop

This is my first experience with Dell, although my wife has used Dell gear before at work and her experience, in her words, is “it just works”. My first laptop cost me 5000 dollars 10 years ago, and about four years ago I had a Toshiba for my work, So I have some experience with them … I’d like to consider myself as an average user.
My usage of the computer is and will be primarily E-mail and Internet surfing, as well as the office applications such as Word and Excel and some Accounting Programs like QuickBooks.
I ordered a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop on 24 December 2008 and it was delivered in the morning of 7 January 2009. It is well within the estimated 7-10 working days given the public holidays over this period.
Item has arrived as ordered. Nothing is missing or broken. Screen is fine, web cam and touch pad are all fine.
I had read in some reviews that the keyboard seemed to bounce and found some comments about the actual case. So far, I have no problems and all is more than acceptable.
One thing that I like it best is that the system was generally not loaded with unwanted software. Though it does have Google desktop gadget stuff and toolbar but that was easy to uninstall. However, it did not even have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, which is interesting but still acceptable.

N82 Is Not That Wonderful

by admin on May.14, 2009, under Eletronics, Fashion

Thanks to the problem caused by AT&T, I was not able to get my data plan upgraded and this limited a lot of what I could do with this phone. I didn’t get the fascinating experience of GPS. Nor did I get a chance to turn my phone into a portable one.
Since this was my first experience with the N-series, I hadn’t developed its potential to the greatest extent. Nonetheless, here is my list of high and low points for the N82.

Highs:

The cell phone functions work well especially can provide me with loud speakers.
Wi-fi is not only easy to setup but also a piece of cake to access.
Third party application is a brilliant function and brings me lots of fun.
The camera has xenon flash and its easily uploading option is great as well. I’ve got two babies to capture, so this function became the favorite one to me.

Lows:
The cheap look and feel is disappointing.
The lack of US 3G can be a fatal disadvantage. T
he small screen makes it unpopular to the old, and besides, it is getting old itself… With the mushroom of new N-series, people might regret buying the N82 when N85 is released a couple months later.

All in all, the N82 is a great phone; just not that ideal for me. If the N82 had a more attractive looking with a bigger screen, I wouldn’t hesitate to keep it.

I like My Sony Ericsson G900

by admin on May.14, 2009, under Eletronics

I’ve had the G900 for 4months now. This is a perfect phone for keep yourself organized. The sticky-note pad is an excellent function for spontaneous note taking and reminders. All you need to do is just write a note on your phone with the stylus and save it. You can also set an alarm reminder in each note, and create folders for notes and send notes as SMSs.

The phone is also equipped with PDF application, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and even business card scanner. There’re so many other ideal applications that are especially important for business professionals. It’s pretty easy to navigate through the phone, just use the touch-screen. And the camera and video features are great

Unfortunately, the phone can drag and be a little slow when navigating through the applications. The capacity is only 160MB of RAM for all the applications packed into this phone. Fortunately, the G900 can support up to 8G of external memory for taking more pictures and downloading more songs.

Overall, this is the best phone I’ve ever had. The handwriting recognition in sticky-notes and the camera are my 2 favorite features. Get this phone if you are not addicted to high speed device and don’t mind tardiness that may trouble you.

HP Mini 2140 —A GREAT Sub-notebook!

by admin on May.12, 2009, under Computer and Laptop

I really like this product as a great sub-notebook. It’s small, light with a sleek look. In its defense, I think some people expect too much from this laptop range. But to me, I think it’s great for the money I paid for it ($550US). Its specifications are excellent compared with other sub-notebooks. All I wanted is a small machine, and there it is. All I wanted is to be able to get on the net, and there I am. All I wanted is to take my music with me and be able to play it, which again there I can thanks to its 160GB hard disc!

The cute object has a clear, bright screen, built-in webcam, microphone and speakers are also available along with two USB ports and nice large keyboard!
Also I wasn’t disappointed with battery life, I was able to type for long periods without the need to have the machine plugged in, internet usage was a little draining but I was still impressed with how long the machines battery lasted.

When it comes to the shortcomings of the product, I really can’t think of any, the product was a great price, looks good and does exactly what I need it to do.
In summary, I am not disappointed with my purchase, I got what I expected and needed and for people who want raw processing power and all those little added extras like back-lit keyboard then you need to buy an actual fully featured, fully powered laptop, which includes a fast processor and lots of RAM.
This machine is great for what it is!

HiPhone I9+ Dual Card Quad Band Touch Screen Phone With Java Function White(SZR175)

It’s finally here. The updated version of the SciPhone i68 and it’s absolutely fabulous. You can check out all of the information I’ve gathered here for the specifics, but the new i9 is really fully loaded with Java 2.0 (MSN, PowerPoint, Excel) third party software, dual sim active on most, (this is a pretty notable feature – as both sims can be online at one time without having to switch) the capacity to support up to 8GB (although you more commonly see 2-4GB) of memory and shake and tilt control.

This is also the thinnest, sleekest, lightest, and fastest iPhone clone to date. Pricing on the i9 is much less than I expected, starting out of the gate in the $150 -$189 range usually (unless it’s 8GB, then it could be slightly more).

Blackberry

by admin on May.05, 2009, under Cell Phone

The Blackberry 7100t is a very smart phone with a modern design. One hallmark of the phone is that it owns a great 65k color display that greatly enhances the quality of the screen and beautifies its beautiful wallpapers. The screen makes you feel as if you yourself are standing on those white beaches, the blue seas, the sublime mountains or other scenic beauties and its sound quality also complements its images perfectly.
This phone bridges the gap between business and pleasure. It has the ability to satisfies different tastes and meet various needs. For the businessmen, it has a high speed which will not let any break come up while they are at work and for the pleasure-seeking people, it has games like “Brick Breaker” which will allow you to spend your leisure time in a more exiting way. Classical Moto C155

by admin on May.03, 2009, under Cell Phone

This is the first cell phone that I own. My parents bought it for me as my birthday present and I love it so much! Unfortunately, in late 2008, the gadget was broke down. I felt so sad that time. But that is ok because now I have another cell phone one me.
My experience using Motorola C155 is that this cell phone is not a good cell phone. It is not small enough and also the system used in Motorola C155 has been the worst one I ever used so far. And after having experienced the other Motorola series, now I know that all of the Motorola series, the old one, just have the same system like my Motorola. It is not user friendly, it is hard to learn.
As for my experience using this cell phone, I am satisfied enough with its color screen. The GPRS feature guarantees my right to browse the internet, admittedly, it is a solid design – but not a slim one, and a very loud and clear sound that it produced. But unfortunately this all features become boomerang for Motorola itself. I was very disappointed with the GPRS software used inside the phone. It is hard to use and takes a very long time to load. And it is still using WAP mode for browsing.
But this is still my first phone at that time. And there are only few people who own a Motorola phone, they usually use Nokia phone. Because of this, I felt ok to use this phone for my everyday life. I am a unique person, so my phone needs to be different too. I love this old phone. Unfortunately, this phone already died a couple of years ago. Sayonara my sweet phone, I will always remember you.

Best Buy for the Buck

by admin on May.01, 2009, under Computer and Laptop

HP Pavilion dv3510nr is overall a good laptop. I’m very pleased with the purchase. I have a couple of laptops at home and I use a wireless router. For some reason the speed of this laptop is very slow when connecting to that router, while my other laptops do just fine. I took it to the office and connected to the wireless network there and it ran like a leopard. I also tried it out at a friend’s house as well and it ran like the same leopard in my office. Since I can’t figure out why n it does not like the router I got at home, I decided to change a router. Then, voila, I had everything running great ever after. Additionally, I like having the backlit keyboard especially when in poor lit places. Finger print reader is cool to as it can associate passwords with my finger print. What’s more, it boasts a decent battery life!

However, the touch pad is a little bit too sensitive so when I am typing it is easy to brush against it with my palm and can be a bit frustrating. But there is a button on the top of the pad that you can press to disable the touch pad while you are typing important documents. Keyboard is a bit smooth so it is kind of weird at first to touch, felt like my fingers were sliding around, but it was really easy to adjust to. And one more tip, this is not one for Windows XP lovers, because it’s built for VISTA.

High Quality iPod

by admin on Apr.30, 2009, under Eletronics

Besides the iPod, is there any other music player quite as well known, quite as popular? The answer is no. Many people wonder just what makes it so good, what makes it one of the most popular fashion. The truth is it’s a combination of things.
It seems weightless at times, and with its very slim design fits perfectly into my pocket or bag, rather than those chunky MP3 players which are very uncomfortable. The 20GB model is a moderate size with the amazing ability to hold 5000 songs it’s no wonder. That’s right, I can leave this thing on for days and it still won’t have repeated the same song. Not only that, just think about it, how many other 20GB portable hard drives slide into your pocket? None!
The look is another thing which draws me to the iPod. A clean white outer covering, a sleek LED display and a seemingly flawless click wheel which allows me to scan through thousands of songs in seconds, without even lifting a finger. If all the things I’ve discussed above isn’t enough, this thing can also do everything from setting reminders, waking me up to my favorite songs, leaving myself notes as reminders, playing games and closely monitoring my contacts. Ease of use is another great feature of this phenomenal unit. Adding hundreds of songs to the iPod is only a matter of a few minutes.
So in conclusion, if you like to carry one of the hottest pieces of technology in your pocket, the 20GB iPod is definitely for you.

Denver Nuggets match most lopsided win in NBA playoff history

by admin on Apr.28, 2009, under Sports

It is a game like this that makes you question if there are too many teams invited to the postseason.

Carmelo Anthony scored all of his 26 points in the first three quarters, and Denver thoroughly dismantled New Orleans 121-63 on Monday night to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

*****

The New Orleans Arena was mostly empty by the end of the third quarter, when Denver led 89-50 on its way to matching the most lopsided victory in NBA playoff history. The Minneapolis Lakers beat the St. Louis Hawks 133-75 in 1956.

Looking twice as quick as New Orleans on both ends of the court, the Nuggets stifled Hornets All-Star Chris Paul, whose four points and six assists amounted to one of the worst games of his career.

I’m surprised New Orleans managed to win one game in this series. Denver could make it to the Championship finals.

Why I Decided to Buy the Samsung Instinct

by admin on Apr.22, 2009, under Eletronics

The first reason is that I’m sick of flip phones. Ever since the iPhone has come out I have wanted one. Since the first flip phone I have owned, I hated them. On my list of the flip phones I have owned and broken, are: a Nokia flip phone, an LG one, and most recently a Motorola Razr V3. A person like me who constantly drop, throw, and accidentally step on your belongings, you need a sturdy phone. My only problem with non-flip phones in the past was making calls while the phone was in my pocket. The Instinct allows the user to set a specific amount of time for the screen to lock after inactivity.

The second reason is its ideal price in its class. After a great amount of research, I decided that it was the best deal for the money. The Apple iPhones will cost me more than several cars I have owned. A 3G iPhone with $199 as the marketing price, cannot be found on eBay for less than $400.

The various features of the Samsung Instinct is also an attraction. With live TV and turn-by-turn navigation, this device would be worth the price even if you couldn’t make phone calls, text messages, and surf the web. The television channels offered are the dream of a sports lover (like me). You can choose freely among Fox Sports, SPEED, and even NFL Mobile!

LG Versa

by admin on Apr.15, 2009, under Eletronics

The LG Versa is a touch-screen phone, but not a usual one. It’s not bragging to say that it is the most versatile phone one’s ever seen. The unique option of adding external modules to increase its function versatility is what makes it outshine others. For instance, the Versa comes with an attachable QWERTY keyboard, but if you loath having the extra bulk annoying you, just detach it and you can still type with the virtual keyboard on the touch screen. Additional modules are being considered to be added in the future, such as a game pad controller which makes LG Versa a cute PS3 and external speakers.

Even if you omit the amazing addable modules, the Versa is still a very good touch-screen phone. It provides an animated interface, where you can customize three home screens. The Versa has a full HTML browser with support for Flash Lite, which means watching your favorite YouTube clips is not just a dream any more. Other features include GPS, stereo Bluetooth access to V Cast Video and V Cast Music, and you also get a 2.0-megapixel camera.

Though the lack of Wi-Fi and the less satisfactory browsing experience should be blamed, Versa’s promise of future modules is still impressive.

7 Things about Motorola i870

by admin on Apr.14, 2009, under Eletronics

There are some things you need to notice when suing it:
1. One good thing is the push open button but eventually it causes the phone to crack
2. The battery is ok at first then it starts two wear away. This problem results from its lack of a power-save mode meaning you can’t turn the lights off on the phone or keypad, and this increases the battery consumption.
3. Converting songs from mp3 player is easy and the other accessories as well are pretty easy to use especially if you are a technology person.
4. When taking pictures, make sure that the lens are clean given that the pictures will be blurry and you can’t close the phone to take pictures.
5. For people who travel a lot, you may want to have another phone because when I travel, I sometimes don’t have a signal for hours which can be dangerous.
6. Sending pictures are good but it may take a lot of trouble shooting and complaining in order to receive pictures as text messages from all carriers.
7. If you look at the general picture, the phone is nice and durable. I’ve dropped this phone plenty of times and it has no scratches or cracks. That’s an incredible advantage and the main reason I got the phone.
It is a good choice for you, isn’t it?

The Tale of Vaio JS190J

by admin on Apr.03, 2009, under Eletronics

Generally speaking the Vaio JS190J resembles the look of a typical all-in-one PC. It has a built-in webcam lens bon the top of its edge, a Blue-ray drive opens out from the side as well as an adjustable foot on the back. Its new keyboard design even borrows its looks in no small part from Apple’s iMac keyboard. The unit itself measures approximately 16 inches high by 19.1 inches wide by 2.1 inches deep, stand excluded, which makes it about 2 inches shorter than the iMac.

The Vaio JS190J is remarkably faster than its competitors whose impressive performance wins can be attributed to the Sony’s desktop CPU. As for the other all-in-one computers, they all use slower laptop chips. But not the Vaio JS190J, whose integrated graphics chip, though holds it back from playing advanced 3D games, still for all other tasks, no other all-in-one desktop can match the performance of the Vaio JS190J. If you need an all-in-one PC for productivity of any kind, don’t hesitate to get this system. It’s worth your faith and fee.

Other ports on the system comprise a Gigabit Ethernet port, SD Card and MemoryStick Pro inputs, five USB 2.0 jacks, analog ports for headphones and as well as a microphone.
